Try this tip: Seek out and answer the tough questions. Resist becoming defensive when someone asks a tough question. Instead, take a deep breath and calmly answer difficult questions. If you don’t know all the details, it’s ok to say, “I don’t know,” but make sure to tell people you’ll give them the rest of the information as soon as possible. Sometimes employees will hesitate to ask tough questions; use anonymous options like index cards or questions submitted to another person to ensure that you are getting the right, tough questions.
