Try this Tip: Focus on the future. When providing feedback to colleagues and employees, lean forward (not literally!). At some point in a feedback conversation, it’s time to plan ahead rather than rehashing past performance. Great questions for that moment include: What might you do differently next time? What do you want to remember for the next time? How would you like to feel after your next opportunity to practice?
