Try this tip: Persist.

Persist. Not every attempt at improvement will work. Not every new initiative, new strategy, or new process will result in absolute success. We have to be “willing to wade through the not-so-fun stuff before” we “taste success”. Effective leadership requires time, effort, diligence, and stamina. Whether it is having patience with those we work with, patience to see a difficult decision through, or patience to follow a slow, deliberate process—effective leaders need patience.
