Nannette Johnston is a Studer Education coach for the Evidence-Based Leadership K12 approach. Prior to this, Nannette served as Superintendent of Hardin County Schools (KY). During her tenure, HCS climbed from the 66th to 87th percentile for student achievement, and 100% of high schools moved to the 96th percentile. Nannette has achieved many honors, including being named Superintendent of the Year by the Kentucky Association of School Administrators.
Nannette continues to provide expert support to KASA members, through on-going leadership development programs. Prior to her superintendent role, Nannette served as the Director of Early Childhood Programs for HCS. She began her career as a teacher and teacher assistant.
