Creating a System of Continuous Improvement:  Integrating Teams, Tools, and Tactics

This workshop is designed for leadership teams and education leaders to provide specific tools and tactics that build system capacity to effectively implement a continuous improvement process. This workshop will be co-facilitated by coaches from Studer Education and education leaders from the School District of Menomonee Falls.

Fall Symposium 2015-Introduction to Continuous Improvement and Site Visits

LOCATION: Menomonee Falls High School Auditorium

This day is designed to give participants an opportunity to visit classrooms and speak to staff about tactics and strategies used to build continuous improvement processes throughout the school district.  From kindergarten students to the Board, process improvement is having an impact on system effectiveness and efficiency.  Participants will learn about the journey that the School District of Menomonee Falls has been on and the partners that have been critical for the transformation.

Fall Symposium 2015-Introduction to Continuous Learning Processes in the Classroom

This workshop is designed for grade level or subject area teams and principals to learn about implementing continuous improvement tools and strategies with students to improve student engagement and achievement.  Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the foundational steps  involved in implementing the continuous learning process.  Participants will receive specific examples and templates to use within their learning environment.

The district recommends that teams of teachers and site administrators attend the introduction session before attending other Friday sessions.  If the goal is to implement improvement strategies with students in the classroom, this is a great first step.
