The evidence-based framework provides professionals in a school system focus to support students to achieve student learning results. However, the support depends on how well school system leaders interact with the employees they lead and serve, and how well they execute tactics associated with continuous improvement. What happens when a leader supports and leads with fidelity? Here’s an example from one of our partners:

Thank you Dr. Greco for the recognition of the custodial/maintenance staff at the All Staff In Service Meeting on Monday the 25th. The applause by everyone was incredible! It’s a tribute to a lot of hard work, dedication, a sense of responsibility, and being put in a position and given the tools to be successful. It’s a transformation of a department lead by Rick Fechter and Chris Carlton with a focus on quality /continuous improvement. I have to say it was a proud moment!

District and school leaders, teachers, and district employees continue to be challenged to look for solutions that will help them provide every child with an opportunity to earn an excellent education. This means as leaders we must do everything we can, every day, to show our colleagues they are valued. Thank you, School District of Menomonee Falls, for sharing an example we can follow.
