
About Wanda
Wanda’s career has spanned over thirty years of experience in public education, serving in two states. Her most recent appointment was supporting the Lee County, Florida, School System as the Chief Academic Officer; a district with 96,000 students that desired to see dramatic growth in student achievement. The majority of Wanda’s career was focused on Georgia where she retired as superintendent after serving in the role for seven years. Wanda’s career includes positions as a state level Associate State School Superintendent for School Improvement Services, district level Assistant Superintendent, district Curriculum Director, principal, middle school assistant principal, middle and high school teacher, and adjunct professor for graduate educational leadership programs. Her experiences in a PreK-12 arena and beyond bring a broad perspective to the field of building leadership capacity, school improvement and increased student achievement.
