MASTERLOGO LOGOHave you heard? It’s #ThankYouThursday! There are many ways to recognize exemplary colleagues. We recommend that leaders share handwritten thank you notes with their colleagues. The notes should specifically identify the behavior that was recognized by others or by the leader. South Louisiana Community College faculty and staff leaders are encouraging their colleagues to do just that!

Say “Thanks” to someone who’s offered you support or help recently. You can say it with a nice handwritten note, or put it in an email… You can also get creative and include a sweet treat!

Morgen Landry, Advancement Coordinator in Institutional Advancement, and Maria Schexnayder, Graphic/New Media Designer in Communications and Marketing were today’s #ThankYouThursday recipients.

SLCCThankYouThursdayEveryone likes to be recognized and rewarded when they do something good or are helpful. Take the lead, like the faculty and staff leaders at SLCC, and write a quick “thank you” to a colleague; let them know as one of our colleagues recently wrote, “you are a life saver!” or “you provide perspectives from the lens of the total organization, but focus on the individual in the process…” Thank you notes are one way to harvest employee wins. Write one today!
