Develop next steps. At the end of a meeting – with a team or with an individual, always identify next steps in behavioral terms. Using specific behaviors makes it easier to implement, and even easier to validate that the actions occurred. Key questions to answer include: What will you do? When will you do it? Who needs to know about this meeting? Who will tell what to whom, by when?
