ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

Build (or Rebuild) a Powerful Leadership Team

Looking for people who are passionate, skilled and willing to step up with one voice is critical.

– Dr. Pat Greco

Did this summer bring new faces onto your leadership team? Retirements, new opportunities and continuous change will always impact our leadership teams. When we face these circumstances, we likely want to either build back or continue building the strength of these important groups. In this roundtable, Dr. Julie Kunselman shared examples and lessons learned from partner organizations on ensuring that your team models the way for everyone else’s success.

In the roundtable and the discussion, Julie shared traits of leaders in successful K12 districts and asked attendees which traits resonate with them the most and why. She also asked leaders from across the country how they would react in a specific scenario regarding their leadership teams. Julie shared examples and resources to answer the question:

  • How do we get to that powerful, high-performing leadership team?
